P O I S O N .

Writer: Mr. Gray Mr. Gray

The poisons of life are not universal, but they are however, relatable.

"Poison" has a very special place in my heart. The concept behind this piece was to use a single bottle of poison, something unmistakably bad for you as my vessel to examine the others poisons of life, the ones that are less obvious.

"Not every poison in life will come with a conveniently placed skull and cross bones warning label, but we all know it when we see it."

Negative thoughts seem to be my biggest poison, how about you? Take a moment to think about the poisons that effect you daily. Maybe you haven't put much thought into it. Maybe you're trying to eradicate them as we speak. Either way, the poisons of life come in many forms, and not limited to; self-doubt, hatred, anger, jealousy, dishonesty and so many more. Honestly, the list is endless. And the thing about these poisons is that not every poison in life will come with a conveniently placed skull and cross bones warning label, but we all know it when we see it. It is our job to tackle them along the way or destroy them, whichever comes first.

So when I look at this piece, I'm reminded that the poisons of life will ebb and flow, they will change, they will grow and they will diminish, but what matters the most is that we are diligent and work everyday to overcome them and stay one step ahead.
